Established in 2016, Streven Distilling Company produces small batch bourbon, vodka, and gin in Kosciusko County’s first legal distillery. While founders Mitch and Ashley Miller both enjoy full time careers outside of the distilled spirits industry, their vision was to start a small family owned distillery in their hometown of Warsaw, IN to serve the local community.
The foundation to Mitch’s passion for starting a family owned business was laid at a young age growing up around his parent’s business - Miller & Sons Tool & Die (now Instru-med). After graduating from Ball State University’s Entrepreneurship program in 2003, and gaining experience in various industries over the years, the idea for Streven was born.
Ashley continues her work as a Doctor of Physical Therapy while also managing the Miller Household of 5 kids, including 2 sets of twins.

The inspiration for the name Streven comes from the Dutch word strēven, or to strive, aim, endeavor, aspire, or try. This is the essence of Streven - our commitment to creating the highest quality spirits for our customers. Never cutting corners, and using methods and quality ingredients to produce spirits we are proud of.
Spirits
All Streven spirits are distilled and bottled on-site at the distillery. Our grains are sourced from Indiana producers including corn, rye, and malted barley. Careful attention is paid during the distillation process to only use the “heart” cut of the distillate – resulting in a cleaner, brighter product.
